Chocolate Dipped Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 – 16 oz. Package white chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In one mixing bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl cream together butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Mix in eggs one at a time then blend in vanilla extract.
  • Next slowly add in flour mixture and mix just until combined.
  • Space on cookies sheets 2-inches apart. Flatten cookies slightly. 
  • Bake about 10 minutes
  • Let cool on baking sheet several minutes before moving
  • Once cookies are cool, melt white chocolate and dip half of each cookie in white chocolate then transfer to parchment paper. Festive sprinkles can be added.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container if they last long enough

Peanut butter cookies w/kisses or stars

• Sift together: 1 1/3 c. flour, 1 tsp soda, 1 tsp salt, set aside.
• Cream together: ½ cup marg. ½ c. peanut butter, ½ c. sugar, ½ brown sugar
• Then add: 1 egg, 2 tablespoons milk, tsp vanilla.
• Add: dry ingredients
• Shape into a ball the size of a quarter.
• Roll in sugar & flatten slightly

Bake at 375 on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8 mins remove from oven and put kisses or stars on center return to oven for 2 mins cool before packing (takes 2 – 3 hours before the candy is set)

Mint Chip Sugar Cookies

Mint Chip Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter softened
1 ½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp peppermint extract
3 drops green food coloring
3 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
¼ teaspoon salt
6 oz Andes Cream De Menthe Chips
6 oz chocolate chips

Cream butter & sugar mix until fluffy. Add eggs, green food coloring, and peppermint extract. Cream 2 -3 mins. Measure dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to cream mixture. Mix thoroughly – add chips mixing gently. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop by 2 tablespoons Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Watch for cracking in cookies. Let cool – transfer to cool rack. Use smaller scoops and bake 8 more minutes

Great Pumpkin Cookies

Great Pumpkin Cookies

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups of margarine – softened
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs – slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 cups pumpkin pie mix – I use homemade puree’
  • 2 cup choc chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl cream marg. gradually add sugars beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla mix well. Alternate pumpkin and dry ingredients mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoon and bake 15 – 20 minutes

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 ¼ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter softened
¾ c. white sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 12oz package chocolate chips

Preheat oven at 375
Combine flour, baking soda, & salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, & vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time gradually beating in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.

Any Kind of Cookie

I’ve never made this recipe the same way more than once. This time I added oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chips, and dried cranberries. They were awesome. YUM

 

Any Kind of Cookies

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup margarine – softened
1 cup Crisco oil
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp salt
3 ½ cups flour

 

Mix the first 9 ingredients together. Then add the flour. Add 1 cup rice krispies- 1 cup coconut- 1 cup oatmeal- add 6 to 12 oz’s of chocolate chips – chopped nuts – butterscotch chips- bit o brittle or raisins bake 350 12 – 15 mins
